Brisbane East Netball Inc. holds the License for the Carina Leagues Club TIGERS in Netball Queensland’s HART Sapphire Series for 2019 – 2021 . This new and exciting competition provides the opportunity for homegrown Queensland netball talent to experience the game at a professional level. It provides a pathway for athletes to participate in Qld State teams and the Suncorp Super Netball league.
The Club, formerly administered by Brisbane East Region, has been in partnership with the Carina Leagues Club for over 15 years. This partnership not only includes substantial sponsorship, but also support for the players, officials and the extended Tiger Pride. Although we are one of the smaller regions, the Club has produced many of Queensland’s elite players and coaches. In the preceding state competition, the Carina Leagues Club Tiger Division 1 team has been a QSNL Grand Finalist nine times during the past ten years.
Our two regional associations, Metropolitan Districts and Redlands, work very closely alongside Brisbane East Netball and the Carina Leagues Club Tigers to establish a positive environment in which all our young netballers have the opportunity to flourish.
